On the train this morning I am sitting opposite this chap. He has his laptop open on his knee and is hunched over his Blackberry, alternately scrolling up and down through his messages and frantically thumbing out replies. He looks stressed and unhappy and he hasn’t even got to work yet! This man represents a lot of what is bad about technology in modern society.
